Specifications — Full Dimensions by Size
This part already clears a 5:1 requirement. At 6:1 it is more conservative than the 5:1 commonly specified for wire rope and synthetic sling systems, so the published WLL above satisfies a 5:1 specification as it stands. We do not publish a higher WLL at 5:1, because that capacity is not certified by the manufacturer.

The Crosby G-2150 is a bolt type chain shackle (dee shackle) designed for permanent or semi-permanent in-line rigging connections where the pin must be secured against loosening from vibration or cyclic loads. The bolt, nut, and cotter pin configuration meets ASME B30.26 requirements for overhead lifting and is preferred when a screw pin shackle may work loose in service.

Inspection & Safety
Before every use: visual check for cracks, corrosion, distortion, wear, and illegible markings. Annually (minimum): documented periodic inspection by a trained inspector. Remove from service at first sign of damage. Never repair rigging hardware by welding, heating, or bending.
WARNING: Improper use of rigging can cause death or serious injury. Never exceed the rated Working Load Limit. Apply derating for side-loading, elevated temperature, or chemical exposure. Final application decisions must be made by a Qualified Person per OSHA 1926.32(m).
