Overview
The DICA FiberTech Round Outrigger Pad is designed to be moved by hand while providing greater rigidity at a lower overall pad weight. Built with 13+ layers of quad axial continuous glass fibers and vinyl ester resin, FiberTech pads deliver exceptional structural strength and stiffness to distribute outrigger loads over larger areas. A one-inch thick FiberTech pad weighs 25% less than a three-inch thick SafetyTech pad of the same area and provides the same load distribution performance.

Features
- Up to 600 psi crush rating and working load limits up to 170,000 lbs.
- FRP construction (vinylester polymer reinforced with fiberglass) — non-conductive.
- Recessed TuffGrip® Handles and industrial grade safety texturing standard.
- Easy to clean; does not absorb bacteria or pollutants — eliminates site-to-site contamination.
- 20+ year service life; unaffected by fluids, chemicals, or UV; will not rust or degrade in extreme heat, cold, or maritime environments.
- Operating temperature range: -40°F to 131°F (-40°C to +55°C).
Applications
Concrete pump trucks, aerial lifts, digger derricks, boom trucks, self-erecting tower cranes, mobile substations, rock crushers, scaffolding, service trucks, tow trucks, forestry trucks, well drilling trucks, knuckle boom cranes, and carrier-mounted tower cranes. Typical use: medium-sized equipment with outrigger reaction forces up to 100,000 lbs.

Inspection & Safety
Before every use: visual check for cracks, corrosion, distortion, wear, and illegible markings. Annually (minimum): documented periodic inspection by a trained inspector. Remove from service at first sign of damage. Never repair rigging hardware by welding, heating, or bending.
WARNING: Improper use of rigging can cause death or serious injury. Never exceed the rated Working Load Limit. Apply derating for side-loading, elevated temperature, or chemical exposure. Final application decisions must be made by a Qualified Person per OSHA 1926.32(m).
