The Campbell Bolt Type Anchor Shackle (#5411205) is a heavy-duty carbon steel shackle featuring a bolt, nut, and cotter pin assembly for secure, permanent connections. The bolt-type design prevents the pin from rotating or backing out under load, making it the preferred choice for applications with multi-directional loading or vibration.
Key Features
- Forged carbon steel body with bolt, nut, and cotter pin closure
- Positive locking prevents pin rotation under load or vibration
- Hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance
- Working load limit permanently stamped on shackle body
- Meets ASME B30.26 requirements for below-the-hook lifting
Common Applications
- Permanent or semi-permanent rigging connections
- Multi-directional or side-loaded rigging configurations
- Overhead crane and hoist rigging assemblies
- Applications with vibration where screw pins might loosen
Why Campbell?
When the connection must stay secure under variable loads and vibration, Campbell bolt-type shackles deliver the positive locking security that riggers trust. A proven design backed by 100+ years of manufacturing quality.

Inspection & Safety
Before every use: visual check for cracks, corrosion, distortion, wear, and illegible markings. Annually (minimum): documented periodic inspection by a trained inspector. Remove from service at first sign of damage. Never repair rigging hardware by welding, heating, or bending.
WARNING: Improper use of rigging can cause death or serious injury. Never exceed the rated Working Load Limit. Apply derating for side-loading, elevated temperature, or chemical exposure. Final application decisions must be made by a Qualified Person per OSHA 1926.32(m).
