AMH Walk-E-Dog — Wire-Rope Puller / Come-Along

The Walk-E-Dog is a portable, lightweight aluminum wire-rope puller rated 2,000 / 4,000 / 8,000 lb. It feeds any length of commercially available 6×19S IWRC wire rope for virtually unlimited reach, with smooth, precise control and a telescoping handle that lets the operator optimize pull and stroke.

  • Capacity: 1 t / 2 t / 4 t (2,000 / 4,000 / 8,000 lb) at 4:1 SF
  • Lightweight aluminum construction — durable and corrosion resistant
  • Uses any length of 6×19S IWRC wire rope for unlimited reach (66 ft rope assemblies available separately)
  • Telescoping handle; shear-pin overload protection (4 spare pins stored in the handle)
  • Standards: ASME/ANSI B30.21, OSHA, NASA-STD-8719.9; ATEX II 3 GD c IIB 54°C X

Inspection & Safety

Before every use: visual check for cracks, corrosion, distortion, wear, and illegible markings. Annually (minimum): documented periodic inspection by a trained inspector. Remove from service at first sign of damage. Never repair rigging hardware by welding, heating, or bending.

WARNING: Improper use of rigging can cause death or serious injury. Never exceed the rated Working Load Limit. Apply derating for side-loading, elevated temperature, or chemical exposure. Final application decisions must be made by a Qualified Person per OSHA 1926.32(m).
