AMH PT-Series — Push Beam Trolley
The PT-Series is AMH's plain push (pushed) beam trolley for mounting a hoist to an I-beam and moving the load by hand. 1/2 to 16 ton capacity. Machined cast-iron wheels with a universal tread fit flat or tapered beam flanges, and the low-headroom design with precision “lubed-for-life” sealed bearings assures smooth rolling.
- Capacity range: 1/2 – 16 ton
- The easiest trolley installation ever — 1/2–5 t install/adjust by rotating the threaded hanger shaft; 10 t+ install from one side (hanger shafts fixed to opposite side plate)
- Design factor: 1/2–5 t = 5:1 (use with powered or manual hoist); 10 t+ = 4:1 (must be de-rated 20% for powered hoists)
- Machined cast-iron wheels with universal tread for flat or tapered flanges
- Low-headroom design; precision sealed “lubed-for-life” bearings; durable all-steel construction with standard safety lugs
- Standards: ASME/ANSI B30.16, OSHA, NASA-STD-8719.9, EU 2006/42/EC
- ATEX rated II 3 GD c IIB 54°C X for limited use in hazardous environments
- Options: Wide-Flange Kits for 1/2–5 t with 12″ flange adjustment (ordered separately)

Inspection & Safety
Before every use: visual check for cracks, corrosion, distortion, wear, and illegible markings. Annually (minimum): documented periodic inspection by a trained inspector. Remove from service at first sign of damage. Never repair rigging hardware by welding, heating, or bending.
WARNING: Improper use of rigging can cause death or serious injury. Never exceed the rated Working Load Limit. Apply derating for side-loading, elevated temperature, or chemical exposure. Final application decisions must be made by a Qualified Person per OSHA 1926.32(m).
