AMH LC-Series — Badger® Lever Chain Hoist (Ratchet Lever Hoist)
The LC-Series is AMH's Badger® ratchet lever hoist (come-along) rated 3/4 to 6 metric ton. Easy one-hand operation and setup: with the selector in neutral and no load, the free-chain mode lets the load chain be pulled through by hand for fast rigging. Short ratchet strokes of a non-slip rubber-grip lever with 360° rotation need minimal space — pull force can be 20–30% less than others.
- Capacity range: 3/4 – 6 metric ton (1,650 – 13,200 lb)
- Load chain: Precision hoist load chain, strength of G80
- Operation in any orientation via a fully enclosed horseshoe chain guard keeping the chain on the lift wheel
- Automatic Weston-style mechanical load brake — self-adjusting, double pawls, asbestos-free discs, enclosed; reacts to inertia of a descending load
- Drop-forged alloy hooks with heavy-duty cast-steel safety latch; articulating top-hook mount for straight-line loading
- Light, durable formed-steel enclosure; heat-treated internals; caged roller bearings; powder-coat / plated finishes
- Each hoist proof-tested to min. 1.25× WLL, shipped with a serialized test certificate + manual (English / French / Spanish)
- Standards: ASME B30.21, OSHA, NASA-STD-8719.9
- Options: Z = Zinc-plated chain (standard); S = Shipyard hooks, top & bottom (1.5 & 3 t only)
Available lifts: 5, 10, 15 and 20 ft (unchained units and bulk chain also available). Shipping weight ≈ hanging weight (W) + ~15%. Order by descriptive model number, e.g. LC030-20Z (Model-Lift-Option). Spare parts stocked in the USA.

Inspection & Safety
Before every use: visual check for cracks, corrosion, distortion, wear, and illegible markings. Annually (minimum): documented periodic inspection by a trained inspector. Remove from service at first sign of damage. Never repair rigging hardware by welding, heating, or bending.
WARNING: Improper use of rigging can cause death or serious injury. Never exceed the rated Working Load Limit. Apply derating for side-loading, elevated temperature, or chemical exposure. Final application decisions must be made by a Qualified Person per OSHA 1926.32(m).
